Our Tatton Oak Funds
The Tatton Oak Funds provide investors with actively managed, diversified funds which seek to consistently deliver the best possible investment returns against a given level of risk.
Why invest in our Tatton Oak Funds?
The funds invest by holding single asset class funds selected from the breadth of the market place to provide a well-diversified portfolio.
Our Tatton Oak Funds are actively managed according to your chosen risk-return framework. Active management alone can be expensive so, we combine active with passive funds to reduce costs where we can. We tactically choose when to use each investment style throughout the full investment cycle, with the aim of enhancing the returns where possible.
A word about risk
As with any investment, there are no guarantees. Past performance can be useful, but it isn’t a guide to future performance. The value of your investments can go down as well as up. This is why it’s essential that you discuss your needs and goals with your Financial Adviser, before investing in these funds.
We offer four actively managed, multi-asset, multi-manager funds each with different objectives and/or risk levels. Below is a summary of the fund objectives.
Please see our factsheets for further information.
FP Tatton Oak Distribution
This fund’s primary objective is to provide a stable income through regular dividends with capital growth at least in line with inflation. It is designed for investors who are seeking a growing source of distributable income without wanting to reduce the purchasing power of their capital over the medium to longer term.
FP Tatton Oak Cautious Growth
This fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to longer term which is above normal cash deposit savings rates. This will suit investors who are looking for higher potential returns than available through fixed interest exposure alone and who are prepared to remain invested for at least five years. They accept the possibility of short term fluctuations in capital value in the search for higher return in the long term.
FP Tatton Oak Capital Growth
This fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to longer term which is in excess of normal cash deposit rates. The funds equity focus creates potential for short term fluctuations in capital value which the manager aims to reduce by allocating approximately 25% to bonds and alternative investments. The fund has a medium risk-return profile and could suit investors with a time horizon of six to eight years.
FP Tatton Oak Advanced
This fund aims to achieve capital growth over the medium to longer term which is well in excess of normal cash deposit savings rates. The fund invests in primarily equity markets, approximately 10% will be invested in alternative assets. While considerable capital fluctuations have to be accepted over the full investment term, history shows that sustained capital losses would not reasonably be expected for investment periods over seven years.
